I wear a glove on all full shots but take it off for short game shots and putting. Always have since my junior days and just feels uncomfy without it and as a result I don't feel comfortable over the shot

Not worn a glove for thirty odd years except for my MacWets when it's pouring down.
Never lost my grip on the club and never feel any discomfort from my grips.

Not worn a glove for 10 years, since I read Hogans 5 lessons.
Play off 2 in one of the wettest places in britain, grip has never been a problem.

Unless it is warm I wear gloves on each hand......and since this is the UK it is rarely warm. I leave the glove on for everything. The only time I find it irritating is during the winter when I have thicker gloves on both hands and I can't find my ball mark in my pocket. I have a plan to solve wearing thicker gloves for this next winter.

I once went to the range and found I had forgotten my glove ... I had a big blister in no time. So I always wear one. I’m too lazy to take it off (and getting it on and off is a little painful with mildly arthritic fingers anyway), so I wear it all the time. Keep wondering if I should take it off for putting through.

Always worn a glove, until the other weekend as I left mine at home, couldn't be bothered to buy an new one so went out without one. Right hand was fine, left was a little sore after 18 holes. Not going to bother to get used to callouses so will go back to wearing one.

Used to wear one all the time when the golf pride victory was the standard grip.,Then I found that different grips were available and a good cord grip was much better. Other than on the hottest of days I don't wear a glove. If I do it's on full shots.

When I first started playing as a teenager, Freddie Couples was literally the coolest golfer and as that impressionable teen I naturally copied him and l didn't wear a glove, I've even got a similar tempo to him. Over the years that served me so well getting to low cat1, then after a few years of not playing when I started again for some reason I started using a glove and found no consistency in my game couldn't fathom why until one day my glove got a tear in it on front 9 of a comp in which I was playing average, so binned the glove next thing you know I had a brilliant back 9 and won the comp. Only thing I could put it down to was the feel of the club in my hands. Not worn a glove ever since even if it rains.

But I'm still now a distinctly average golfer either way 😂

I only took up golf about 7 years ago...started with a glove because everyone else seemed to have one but seemed to be wearing them out every 2/3 rounds so stopped wearing it. 30 years on the tools has given me pretty tough hands and I’ve never had a problem with callouses or lack of grip.

Never felt the need to wear one. Modern grips make it easy to grip the club well. Just use McWets when it rains.

I always wear a glove for all shots more than 70 yards from the green.
I rarely wear a glove for pitches, or chips.
I never wear a glove for putting.

If it’s raining I wear a pair of Footjoy rain gloves.
If it’s really cold I wear a pair of Footjoy cold weather gloves.

I wear a left glove all the time. Even for putting - it feels odd otherwise.
I take long putts right handed and short putts left handed (the yips) but only wear the left glove

Only when it's raining or high humidity ( usually abroad) for me. I've enough to worry about without putting a glove on and off. Never use an umbrella for same reason.

I've never really understood the urge to use umbrellas. I've got rain gear. I can almost see using one if there was no wind.....but that is very rarely the case. 2 guys I play with just got their umbrellas destroyed from the weather.....and they are looking for new ones. Tradition I guess......
