Crazy Tee Positions

This was back in the summer when I was there. Normal tees. It certainly is an oddity!
Maybe they have reds as intermediate and yellows as women's at that club

Only other thing I can think of is that it's so that whether you're a man or a woman, the tee you play from in a competition would be further back than playing casual?

But it's more likely that it's just weird.

I would say the 18th at Woodlands Manor. A par 3 from a tee box cut into a hill to a green below, for which a public single track road runs in front of it. Just seems nuts with the public road there.
i would also add the seventh at woodlands as you drive over the trees ,you cant see the fairway.

Unusual but could be many reasons why.

Could just be that the yellows were 'up' to preserve the main part of the tee box.

Or could be that having the reds behind the yellows on particular holes gives a better balance to each course. (Eg red course might be too short and out of balance if those tees were further forward).
