Last time I was on the Bealach the bin wagon was navigating the hairpins on its way down :ROFLMAO:
Mind you it is like a motorway now compared to when I first went up it in the 1970's.
No tarmac on the passing places then, just grit and big holes.
Come to think of it that was a fair bit of the road as well.:love:https://www.bing.com/images/search?...ba&form=IGRE&first=1&scenario=ImageBasicHover

Lovely photos.

I guess in our UK health and safety culture the scary signs are necessary, it doesn't look too intimidating to me.

Good luck on the Bealach na Ba in that.

I have done nearly all of it in bit's and it is beautiful, if you are going to be time restricted and don't have time to visit the Pie shop at Lochinver, Applecross etc I would leave it to another time.
Not to be rushed, but 5 full days should be OK.

ps. Last time I was at the top of the Bealach it was thick fog and my fellow travellers in their MacLaren, Red E Type, yellow Porche etc were looking a bit queezy.:ROFLMAO:
Had one of the pies today, very nice. 52D55CBD-4909-46DA-B082-216A66333317.jpeg

(y)Proper pies .......fierce old price but probably worth it.
We used to share one so no waste.

Are you going anti clockwise?
If so Smoo cave is worth a stop.
Weather has not been kind to you

Nice wee website for those who want to find different driving routes in Scotland.
