I guess its what we're used to. I'm used to a pencil bag as when I was 16 to 17 or so it was the only bag I could lug to the course on my moped :ROFLMAO:
Nothing will ever beat the trolley now for me whilst playing but this is just for practice. Taking trolley, cart bag and battery etc. when...
Pencil Bag - https://golfsupport.com/golf-bags/golf-pencil-bags/titleist-premium-carry-bags
Been practicing a lot before work in the mornings, sick of the faff of dealing with the cart, battery and cart bag. This allows me to just dump the clubs in the boot and leave them there through the...
Not much of an issue for myself around the midland at golf courses at least, when I went to cornwall there were hotspots which was just thriving with them so we avoided mainly areas with deer populations and woodland /ferns which were high risk for the dogs.
I assume if your club has signs up...
Personally it’s practice ground and my shag bag. I always run lots of practice drills that allow me to score and track progress and it keeps its entertaining.
Also run combine skill tests on the Flightscope to do the same sort of thing.
Mindlessly smashing balls is a waste of practice unless...
Par 71 CSS 71
- Gross 74 / Net 70
- Gross 75 / Net 70
- Gross 77 / Net 71
I had a knockout match, holed out on all holes as I wanted to keep my score:
Shot 70 for Net 68.
Absolutely gutted, I had planned to play in the medal as it was a board comp but my opponent...
I'm fully up to date now awaiting upcoming episodes, been a good listen but can't deny frustrated as highlighted above by some of their choices which have hindered progress.
Makes it funnier in some regards though, had me smirking at work on numerous occasions.
I was having similar issues a while back my process now:
Pre shot routine - picture the shot you want to hit.
Voice in head 'committed execute that shot'
Walk to ball ' committed' repeat
Assuming Stance ' Strong and stable
Address Ball ' 'Smooth, Smooth, Smooth' or other positive queue
2 iron for me.
Currently switching between 2 iron and 17 degree rescue depending which course i'm at and wind conditions. Unfortunately the rescue is beating the the 2iron out of the bag at the minute as it's just too much of a lifesaver from the rough.
Hit either of them or the 3 wood off...
Game of thrones (up to date)
Line of Duty (Just finished the final episode)
Chernobyl (watched the first two episodes so up to date, interesting thus far)
Only problem now is the mrs is looking at tours of chernobyl and I can't find a hazmat suit in my size.
Back on topic however, Killing Eve...
Some great advice, thank you.
A little update.
She had a sit down with the boss and it appears he had been completely bamboozled by this other women, he highlighted a catalogue of issues which had been pointed towards my partner some of which were e-mails that dealt with complaints in a very...
Not sure how I feel about a situation, well I do but think I need to wrap my head around more sensible options and approaches, sorry it's a little long.
My partner works in hospitality, she was front of house at a hotel for 4 years, we relocated for a year and she found the same role at another...
Sad I know but my memberships are strategic to play as much as i can throughout the year depending on light in mornings and evenings etc. to work around my relationship and work commitments as much as I practically can.
2mins drive. Allows me to play before/after work during long...
I played solid, not out of my skin but my whole game showed up on the day, think he had one of those days where it just wasn't happening otherwise it would have been a finish closer to 18. I'm always more 'fearful' when I play those around the 18-20 bracket as I've seen many string together...
Do any clubs run separate divisions for the knockouts?
We don't really have enough numbers at one of the clubs to have separate knockouts for each division however one guy who was knocked out first round by myself is bleating that it should be in separate divisions due to the potential skill...
Still working great.
My biggest hurdle was extremely long putts, this took hours of practice to get used to and I’ve just about got as good as I was with my normal putter.
The difference for me however is anything within 20 foot, pace and line is usually bang on. Just misreads that throw me...
I keep my clubs in my office so like to keep them sparking. Clean the heads after every round with some Meguairs car shampoo I have after every round or practice sessions.
Grips get cleaned every 2-3 weeks with the same stuff.
Putter gets shotgun oiled post round to keep rust at bay on the...
Not yet opted for shoes with the BOA system, usually opt for traditional laces.
How do people find them, are they better or can they be a nuisance?
Looking at the FJ Tour S and there is £20 difference between BOA or lace up. No pro shops have these in stock for me to check, so it’s a matter of...
