    Random irritations of the day......

There is an old greenkeeping saying...……..Shortest possible route, least line of resistance, I have watched members of all types think that rules do not apply to them. I was once playing with a council officer in charge of four courses who totally ignored a sign not to take a short cut in front...

    Fiona Bruce Question Time

Thanks James, I had forgotten that Derby was a strong rail works town. They took a lot of work away from Swindon resulting in the closure of their works.

Brexit - or Article 50: the Phoenix!

Do you know what else happened two years ago that caused a 20% devaluation of her spending pound. If so please enlighten us.

Brexit - or Article 50: the Phoenix!

Her main worry is drop in the value of the £ since Leave won the vote and further devalues as a hard Brexit now seems inevitable. She relies on fast time deliveries as her franchisees are mainly home based with little storage space. Any delays will be very problematic. She had good plans in...

    John Bercow.

Another witch hunt by the far right on here...…….super just what we all anticipate. Hey guys.... why no mention of Boris getting caught out with denying using his '77 million Turks joining the EU' quote before Brexit...…..lying low life creep. He actually runs away and locks himself in what...

    Talking in the loo

An old golf pro friend of mine was on the throne when two members came in for a pee and spent 5 minutes totally slagging him off. Be careful with loo conversations you never know who is listening.

    6 Nations 2019

Does anyone think there should be a Six Nations 2 [second division] with promotion and relegation. Proper rugby seems to be growing quickly with some unlikely countries becoming quite good. Perhaps include Russia in the mix.

    Jeremy Corbyn

I ignored your silly one sided question........so sorry. The answer is neither. [obviously] I am pretty certain that Scotland will thrive away from this broken Union. If England leaves the EU and Scotland leaves the UK and joins the EU......….by your rationale England will not be an independent...

Oh dear. Derby audience actually cheering for a No Deal Brexit. I am not sure that Rolls Royce, Toyota etc would be agreeing.

    Jeremy Corbyn

Do you mean that countries like France, Spain, Estonia and Germany are NOT independent. It would be a brave man to tell them that.

    Jeremy Corbyn

Yes, I would rather have Labour in charge than the DUP. I am not desperately worried though as my first preference is an Independent Scotland in the EU. In that case a walk away deal would be best option other than the impact it would have on my English and Welsh friends and relatives.

    6 Nations 2019

Looking at the Scottish squad I would be pleased to finish fourth. Hopefully Gregor can unearth a few more gems and prove me wrong.;)

    Jeremy Corbyn

Well said. There are only about 100 of the 'swivel eyed loon' types of Tory's who will vote for a no deal Brexit. The other 200+ are quite sensible. Yet the far right wing attack Corbyn for demanding that May drops a no deal Brexit. She trumpets that the SNP are working with her but their...
