Rupert meeting is friend Oscar from Puppy classes for the first time in about a year. chased each other around for a while and had mental fun.... then we had to go our separate ways, hope we see them again
played the Turkey Trot at Nairn Dunbar, first game in a week or so. was winter greens for some reason though it wasn't frosty. hit the ball well, but with the small holes they use on the WG I found it impossible to hole anything, even 1 foot puts either bounced over or were deflected:ROFLMAO...
was in Edinburgh this week so got shot of a load of old wedges and some pulled 3 wood shafts, got £200, mind you they haven't paid yet;)
place was rammed with clubs, of all makes , some nice shafts as well. Also noticed they had a fair few sets of Japanese Forged irons
we are a top 100 course but i don't think we ever pair anyone up unless they ask or want to play at a specific time etc.
Personally it doesn't bother me , you meet some interesting people.
I think the only time i have been, was at the TOC the 2nd time i played, was put with 2 American St...
i shoot, so would be nice to do it more. The Clay shooting club has comps on a Sat morning so never get to compete in those so would free me up to do that, also the syndicate for rough shoots is also Sat so miss those.
Also play Guitar and record my own stuff, but golf doesn't interfere with that
