    Low Spinning Premium Balls

I thought the AD333 Tour had a Urethane cover but a lower compression, like the TaylorMade Project (a) and whatever they called the ball this year (Tour Response or something?).

    Low Spinning Premium Balls

You are already using Bridgestone's lower spinning premium ball, the only other option really would be the Titleist AVX. To be honest though, I found these balls are lower spinning off of irons, nearly all premium balls are around the same off the driver, there is no magic ball out there that...

    Non branded leather golf gloves

I've no issue with them and will continue using them. If someone is making a profit at that price, what does it say about the branded golves?

    Non branded leather golf gloves

I got a pack of 3 Cabretta leather gloves from eBay. I’ve no complaints with them, easily as comfortable and durable as the Mizuno or Wilson ones I used to use. Think it was £9 delivered for the 3 of them. Give them a go, I think they are fine.

Tee time booking and restrictions on how many times a week you can book

Noticed the same thing, there was a lad that had booked a tee every single day. Checked this morning and they have been removed. There is a booking on Wednesday and Friday that have done the Mickey Mouse/Donald Duck “trick” that we were asked not to do that hasn’t been removed though. If BRS...

    Callaway Rogue Driver

I tried it last year compared to the Flash and the Rogue just didn’t suit me for some reason. I found the Flash much more forgiving and longer on centre strikes. Unfortunately there is no real way of knowing if it suits you until you test it.

Tee time booking and restrictions on how many times a week you can book

9 holes only, members only and full members can advance book 1 tee mon-fri and 1 on the weekend. You can book on the day if there are any free. From the weekend it’s switching to 18 holes but it’s not really affected me since I’ve managed to get out once since it opened and even then I had the...

    Superspeed Golf

Maybe but there have been studies that prove the method of super speed (the different weights) definitely works. I guess you could try swinging your driver as hard as you can for 8 weeks and see if it works or not.

    Competition fees

If the whites are that far back I'd suspect the course rating and slope under the WHS will be tougher which should help with the course handicap as well. As for the question, you can pay in cash or by club card but all winnings go back onto the card. We used to be able to pay a percentage of...

    Superspeed Golf

Pros - They work really well. I went from around 98mph to 104mph with my driver after 8 weeks. Also a decent workout, you'd be surprised how out of breath you get when you are swinging as hard as you can. Negatives - don't do it during the season, it knocks your timing out and you will spray...

Not much else left in the tank I think :-)

I always thought my garage was too small, now this has got me thinking.

    Home driving range nets

I wouldn’t want to be right up against the wall but you make a good point with the driving range. May have to give the garage a clear out to see if I can fit in there. By clear out I guess I mean move all the crap to one side.

    Home driving range nets

Do you have a double garage? Mine is about 7-8 foot wide, didn't think it would be wide enough to swing a club. Not even sure I could get the car in it and get out without climbing out the boot.

    Home driving range nets

Why do you even need a net? Looks like you could fit a par 3 in your back garden. :)

How far would you financially support yout club at this time?

Chase SKY, they are letting you postpone your Sports payment for 3 months while still giving you the channels. Can do it through the app on the phone apparently. No live sport, so you aren't exactly getting your monies worth.

Is your club Charging Fees for the time the course will be closed?

When you think about it, a club may have zero outgoings really through the shutdown as the staff are going to be entitled to 80% of their wage from the government. The club don't have to pay the other 20% if they can't afford it, although that does suck for the staff. The VAT and business rates...

Is your club Charging Fees for the time the course will be closed?

Member clubs may be more than a course for some but not for me really. I've been a member for 4 years but I'm not originally from this area so I don't hold a great deal of loyalty to the club, it's not like I've been a member for over 20 years like some of the lads I play with. I managed 17...

Is your club Charging Fees for the time the course will be closed?

Yep, mine is still expecting full fees with no mention of rebates, pro-rata, discount next year or even a goodwill few quid on your bar card.

When do you think you will next play golf?

I'll be surprised if courses are open before July tbh. Just like I'm expecting the kids not to go back till school until September now. I had to do a supermarket run this morning before work as we didn't panic buy and are now out of a few things like bread, eggs, fresh meat etc. Also had to get...
