So people who are "key workers" can't try to book some time off to play golf and have some respite like everyone else?
Perhaps they need a day off from the most stressful time - "they've booked days off and shuffled work around in the most hours of need".
Maybe you need to hang your head a bit.
I think most people are struggling with remembering what day it is, and even what you did the day before. All the days are blurring into one. My wife and myself couldn't remember which of the 3 walks we normally do on rotation we did yesterday, and we were wracking our brains until we remembered...
Sorry, but unless I am misunderstanding something, wouldn't it be more of a relief to get a positive result and find that you had been infected by Corona and pulled through? Although I suppose you may be looking at the general picture and were worried you may have infected others?
My wife is a teacher, and if this happens she won't be returning any time soon, as she would just take retirement a year or so before she had planned to do so at 60 at the earliest. She has parents who are in their mid 80's she hasn't seen for months, and so wants to give herself the best chance...

It seems to have made a lot of you want to stray away from the thread title and make a lot of petty arguments between yourselves.
That has affected me in this forum in the sense that it is becoming quite upsetting to see that.
Why he obviously can't, it will surely mean a boost in earnings for him as he can get all the goodies that come with being the Open Champion for another year - so long as we aren't in lock-down for a year!!
I paid in January for the full year but I was going to halt my membership for 3 months next January and only play during the summer thereafter on the summer deal we have. I've been told that the membership has been put on hold and will restart when the club is opened again. Obviously it looks...
Not my shot, but playing a Wednesday chuck-in a long time ago, one of the guys pulled his shot left on a par 3, hit a tree and it bounced right and landed on the green and rolled in. He was so tight he didn't buy a round because he said it was a bad shot!
We have pasta and rice meals combined about 3/4 times a week. We didn't do any panic buying and we are now going to have to change our eating habits if we can't get any soon. I did manage buy some egg noodles though, and will be trying that as a substitute for linguini. :D
