I've no issue with anybody N/R
For any reason, no problem
But my pet gripe is somebody entering a comp, then Coz they've had a crap score, just entering 18 x zeros....!!!
Surely you completed atleast 1 hole in that round, even in stableford
There's a few at my place do this
If you're doing fri--sun
I'd suggest if you wanted to play a different venue, then do that on the friday
Most local courses will be real busy with club comps on the Saturdays and Sundays.
You have Hexham, highly recommend
Both within 20mins drive
Close house is only...
Hope this makes sense
3 loops of 9
So if A and B is the course for the week
Course A would be start point
Taking bookings from 7am until 12 noon
Then bookings start on C
The spare nine
To play course C and A
From 1020am until about 4pm iirc
Hope that makes sense
The starting 18 varies from week to week
The 3rd loop kicks in from about 1015am onwards
Hard to explain in written text
But it's possible to play all 3 loops on 2 diff days
If you played 1 day in the morning
The next day about lunch time
You'd have a different start hole/course
Great set up
The hotel, restaurant, spa/gym etc.... All top class
3 good loops of 9
Par 3 course
Very informal, relaxed clubhouse, that offers good food and drink at very reasonable prices too
No rip off resort prices in the clubhouse
Big thumbs up👍...
It's not a tour venue
It's not long enough or difficult enough
If it was windier it still wouldn't be difficult enough for these fellas
Only thing I could see them do to reduce the scoring would be to narrow the fairways up and grow that rough above knee high
The greens are slopy
I realise we're in very strange times right now
But that is without a doubt the worst field I've ever seen assembled for a european tour event.....!!
But yet they are still ripping it apart
As for Westwood.... Shocking scoring really, as he's playing there all the time, and will...
What a load of patronising waffle
Thanks..... But I knew all that 👍
Just trying to point out with the comparison that there was no real logic and certainly no medical reason/research to make 1 compulsory and the other not
I know the reason why pubs and other businesses have opened...
