Re: Keith Lemon - semi serious question

Can't stand the bloke personally but each to their own. Noel Fielding is another one I just don't 'get', about as funny as a bout of Ebola

Handicap 18. Bag full of Taylor Made with a bit of Dunlop thrown in.

It was funny for about 6months, its been wearing thin for some time.
Bo Selecta and Avid Merrion were hilarious though.

Keith Lemon is another so-called comedian who confuses genuine humour with vulgarity and smut as he doesn't have the talent to be funny without resorting to a low level. The idiot who dresses up as Mrs Brown is another example.

I used to like that Scandinavian comedian, Jesper Swede or something like that.

I quite liked Bo Selecta, Keith Lemon is fairly amusing, not so much that I go out of my way to watch his programs, but enough that I don't turn it off when he's on.

Recent travelogues from Frankie Boyle and Romesh Ranganethan in Russia and Haiti. The possibilities seemed promising but neither of them seemed to have the wit or self awareness to bring it off. When in doubt chuck in a few swear words might work when they're performing their "comedy" but, for me, they seemed out of their depth.
