    Kenny Dalglish

    Is being honoured.

I'm not one for sporting people alone to be honoured just for doing their jobs and getting paid very well (too much) for it, but I support this decision for the work he's always done for charities and has helped people personally more than we'll ever know.

He's a pretty genuine guy and I don't think this will change him one bit, so although these things get thrown about at times, they've got this one right.

    Nice post and spot on!
I played in the David Marsh Seniors last year at S&A and the ball spotter on the 16th hole was Kenny .

Richly deserved, not only for his playing and managerial careers, but the way he acted with such dignity and offered support to the Hillsborough victims over the years. Add in the charity work and something earned and recognition of his efforts

I was surprised when I saw the news.

(Thought he must've been knighted years ago.)
