Yep we should have waited and allowed Assad to put his human shield in place.

Whether we agree or disagree with the current government they are there to make these kind of calls, some need making sooner rather than later.

    Re: Syrian airstrikes

Government should make the decision on this matter without the need to consult parliament - parliament being the representation of the people? Is this decision more important than any other - that parliament - and hence the people - cannot be trusted to make the right decision? Because government alone knows the detail and background, and so is best positioned to make the decision on behalf of the country - and on behalf of 'the people' - because the people could not understand the intricate detail and the possible risks and outcomes.

Such difficult times knowing who should and shouldn't make decisions that could significantly affect our future, and knowing who is best to make them.

On this very specific matter with it's stated objectives of removing a specific 'weapon' from an 'individual' - if a decision is to be made I believe I find myself with the government.

...well from 10.0 to 9.4 this year would be nice.

And last medal of the year (Oct) saw me play to handicap but CSS was +1 so that was me down 0.2 from 8.3 to 8.1

Well, according to Vlad we [the UK] staged the gas attacks...
And, to be fair to Jezza even he was a tad incredulous of that claim...

By that measure, I reckon, we are getting our undergarments in the proverbial twist over nothing more than a bit of well done CGI...
