    you favorite era for Music

    Had a conversation at work today on this, So what is your fave era for music?

    Ironically the consensus was the 80's were the worst, but i disagree.

    New wave, goth, Indie, Manchester and Rave, the 80's had it all.

    personal faves;
    Smiths, New Order, Happy Mondays and the Stone Roses, plus too many others to mention.

    so whats yours?

    Tricky. The 80's were my formative years and so have the most imprint and resonance on the stuff I was doing. That said I love the 70s and glam rock, prog rock, the breakthrough of Queen etc

    My growing up and school years were the 80's so that is what I like most. Didn't think much of it at the time but now it is the era I listen to more than any other. I suspect memories linked to music has a lot to do with it.

    70’s. Started off with Slade, “c’mon feel the noise.” Then Bowie and Yes, Pink Floyd and Genesis.
