Re: End Of Season Course Awards

I always find these things tricky to do but I will give it a go.

Best Course Very tough but I will go for Hillside
Best greens Based on the fact that I holed 3 very long putts, Wallasey
Hardest Royal Lytham I couldn't avoid the Bunkers
Best value Royal Lytham, played it twice for the grand total cost of £15
Notable Sandiway lived up to expectations, Prestbury very surprised at how good it was.

    1. Best Course you have played - Sunningdale New just pipping Sunningdale Old

    2. Best greens you have played - St Annes Old Links (again!)

    3. Hardest Course - Toss up between Royal Lytham off the Open tees or Hoylake in a hurricane!

    4 Best Value - Sandiway for £20

    5. Notable Mentions - Sandiway was much better than I expected as was Mere. East Devon is just golfing heaven with the views along the coast before even thinking about the quality of the course. Hoylake, weather aside, was an absolutely outstanding course and day out with lunch looking over the course.
