    Waterproof socks

I've seen a few posts on here suggesting waterproof socks as a worthwhile investment for the inevitable cold wet autumn/winter...

Anybody got any specific recommendatons (make/model)?

Are Sealskinz the best, any decent competition?

    Cheers in advance

    Re: Waterproof socks

I have used sealskinz for the past 5 years, the ones I have are thicker but I don't sweat in them.

I think people are trying Dexshell ones at the moment , which are cheaper but have decent reviews, they are also thinner I believe.

Sealskinz are amazing. If your shoes fill with water it feels cold for a while then, like a wet suit, they warm up & stay completely dry.

Bought some last week and wore them Sunday at cuddington and my feet were lovely and dry despite the rain.

    well worth the money imo

Sealskinz for me - you have to get your clubbing right, though.

Having tried to use waterproof socks for moutnain biking, I find them too think especially for golf shoes. I prefer to try and proof my shoes instead
