Just come back from an overnighter with 2 days golf at The Manor House, Castle Combe and what an enjoyable two days it was

went with 7 other members of my society, staying in the Waterfall Lodge, a cabin overlooking the 18th green with 4 twin bedrooms

A great value package with dinner and B&B was £125 per head

Course was designed by Peter Alliss & Clive Clark and opened in 1992 and is a beautiful, sometimes stunning place to play golf
There are several spectacular elevated tees Hope the pics below do it justice

View from my bed this morning.

View of the 2nd hole par 3. such a pretty hole

View from the elevated 8th tee, to the green beyond

View from the 17th Par 3 which drops 120 feet to a double green with a stream , I could play this hole all day

managed to play pretty well too which helps
