Why didn't get a Hcp Cut?

I have been working hard on my game, coupled with lessons, and today it seemed to start to come together, becuase in todays Monthly Medal, playing off 18 Hcp I shot 85 gross, nett 67 (CSS was 69) Par for the course is 72, but I didn't get a cut?

I was beaten into 2nd place of Div 2 by a guy playing of 16 who had gross 79, Net 63 and he received 2 stroke cut.

I beat a guy into 3rd place who plays of 13 who shot a gross 81, net 68 and received a 1 shot cut.

All very frustrating when you try hard to improve and don't seem to be getting the hcp cut I was hoping for, are well there is always next week

What's your exact? If you were 18.4 and were only 2 below CSS you wouldn't get cut.
    Give it big humpties

you did get a cut in your exact handicap, but it probably wasnt enough to change your playing handicap

Small steps. You just need to do it again next time. Good playing though so take that positive into the next round
