1,5,7,8,9,10,14,17,18 off whites which makes 9. Less than most here but the Drift has many pinch points and doglegs at around 230-240 and is very tight.

13 times. Only use other clubs on the four Par 3s and a dogleg Par 4.

Reason is that I am more likely to be in play with my driver than 3-wood or hybrids. Need to practice these.

Or maybe driver isn't the play on most of the holes on our courses. Course management is probably better to lower scores instead of being 20 yards further up.

In my 60 years of golf I've met a few arrogant pricks like Hank. I avoid them like the plague. I have also got to know a lot of really good golfers, better than I would imagine Hank would have us believe he is. The majority of them have been genuine, modest people, willing to pass on their knowledge to lesser players. Two of the players I grew up with were happy to play with me when I was off 20. One was a multiple club champion, the other went on to win the Dutch Open.

What don't you go off, Hank, & start an elite golfers' forum. Don't bother sending me an invite.

ON every hole bar the par 3's today. Tylney Park off the whites in damp conditions was a long slog

I don't use a driver. Gets me into trouble so I use a 3 wood instead.
I often play for position off the tee instead of distance as I don't mind hitting long irons into greens.
I discuss forum threads, therefore I am
