Yes 3hrs to play the front 9 is stupid slow.
But it's not like we're only watching that group.

And, assuming they haven't been put on the clock, everyone else is going the same pace.
Have you seen how long some of them are taking to play a shot?

I have Sky too and I'm not complaining either.

For me it's very poor and indeed selfish for someone to suggest that the BBC block out another channel for sport when they already have one channel fully blocked out for sport - total disregard for the other 24 plus million licence players who don't want to watch sport and actually want to possible watch a film or a variety program.
Seriously? I posted the rubbish that is on bbc 4 hd, and would any one really miss that for a few days? I dont think so. Selfish? No. Its just really poor scheduling. Its not like its a major channel.

I can't see it getting better anytime soon.
If us hackers can play a round in 3-4hrs why can't they?
Or maybe we should take more time 🤔

Kevin Kisner's technique has been flawless tonight, he's really mixed it up.

    Re: USPGA Championship on BBC

I've been on holiday for a week and been in a country, Croatia, with no interest in golf so no coverage. This thread has been very funny with some good points in there somewhere.

If the coverage is done mainly by Allis, Brown and James then they really need to have a good look at themselves. Surely they could find someone under 55-60 in a commentator / pundit capacity? Are there no European tour players that couldn't have been brought in. We're they all busy or did no one think to ask? Pretty much all commentators and pundits are freelancers for hire, surely there are some out there ready to step in.

As for the post by the Henni person, never seen her on Sky as far as I can remember, I hope she is embarrassed.

The actual play has been poor - zero excitement going on , no real dramas and the pace of play of the players is shocking and mind numbingly slow - even fireworks and Sky couldn't make the play exciting - as the old saying goes "you can't polish 💩 "

This is prob the most exciting thing to happen so far in the Comp

I thought the interview and chipping chat with Rose was really very good and insightful. I got the impression the BBC must have taken note from somewhere, because apart from the terirble pace of play, I thought last nights 3rd day coverage was the best of the 3 so far.
For those with a Virgin box, channel 991 is BBC RB No waiting for the little ring of something as it tries to find it via the red bullont.
    Forever trying.
