    .

And they bid for it when?

As I understand it they were offered the opportunity...

And, if they turned it down every possibility you'd have nothing...

No biggie... As I said earlier it's a 'major' that shouldn't be...

Could understand all the grief had it been Sawgrass under threat though...

Watching it tonight on my laptop on BBC Sport and it's as HD as anyone could wish for. I notice too that the host broadcaster is now CBS. Is the red button feed any sharper ce soir?

I can wholeheartedly believe the US PGA approached the BBC. It must be their professionalism and commitment to golf that sold it !!

Surely if they can't show both of them they shouldn't have accepted the challenge. This half hearted effort is not doing their standing any good at all.

Ah, but of course. "Little amuses the innocent" - as my late departed sainted mother would have put it.

Is the future of golf really confined to viewing on a lap top?

Of course not, but in this (I suspect one off case) needs must - and having the choice of RB or lappy then it's lappy for me. No real hardship to be honest.

The future of sport (any live event) may be pay as you go. Maybe the sky model is nearly dead? Still alive tho unlike the BBC model.
