    No

I am mearly suggesting you wax lyrical about the inclusive nature of the Beeb at every opertunity like some tedious metronome.

Yet you admit that it is terrible coverage without having an intermediate knowledge of tech.

But that is not in the sprit of the Beeb being open to all. Something that is used as a stick to beat sky.

That's the opposite in fact. It's exclusive to those that understand tech, or it's a terrible experience for all others.

    Re: USPGA Championship on BBC

It seems to me lots of golf fans are trying to find all kinds of ways to see their sport. If it was on Sky and you weren't a subscriber you may go to the pub or club to watch. For the non golf fans the PGA seem to be trying to attract, I think the higher viewing numbers argument may have had some merit if the BBC had put it on mainstream TV ( not red button or online). My guess is the BBC have used their viewing numbers on mainstream to get this event and then not put it on their mainstream feeds. It would be interesting to see their typical red button viewing figures v their BBC 1 or BBC 2 figures.
Throughout my career in business I have learned it's easier to keep a customer you already have than find a new one.
From the responses on this thread it seems the BBC have made their usual half hearted effort and made a bit of a mess of this.

    Hang on.

    Actually.

It's just started on bbc2 hd and to be fair the picture quality is much improved.

Just a shame the first tee time was nearly 12 hours ago...

    Bonus.

    Doubt I've missed much..

Might go and wake the kids up so they can enjoy a nice family afternoon (sorry morning) with dad on the couch

After all they are the future of our great game.

A few things I've picked up on

Not many player interviews, think I've only seen fleetwood and casey, which is a bit disappointing.

Aliss loves a good slagging off, builds them up, then knocks them down in a hurry

johnny vegas is my new fave golfer, primarily for being the only golfer not to wear a hat!
