Bravo to the Beeb for the sheer user freindliness of it all....

So people complaining about not having it in HD won't have the ability to press the single red button or type in three numbers ?

Expensive smart tv? You can get a kodi box that can run BBC iPlayer for £20

    Wow the cost

A lot of digital boxes have it built it anyways

My lovely LED smart telly has iplayer and it's a HD picture

Sounds like you need a newer telly
As pointed out previously a smart telly is useless to me, as the internet in my house is rubbish. Bt infinity is as good as it gets, and on my wifi analysing app on my phone its yellow at best, where as it should be in the green. I could spend thousands on a smart tv, and it would still be a pile of junk. My plasma is as good as it gets round here.

I can pay less than that to watch it on sky

Also only a certain demographic will know what the heck a kodi box is.

    Never said it was

But the picture quality is sub standard resolution.

    And the sound is gruff.

A firestick then? Or just a youview box? Their cheap!!

You can't pay cheaper to watch Sky as it's an on going cost.. a one off cost that's lower than sky's monthly fee and enables you to constantly watch is always cheaper.

    Re: USPGA Championship on BBC

Interesting to read through this, better than watching the 1987...sorry 2017 PGA championship. I don't care who supplying the feed/picture, it's total crap, like and old shell WWG golf picture. Not the BBC fault, maybe not, but this is a major and its 2017 and the quality is fuzz. Its not live, non of it. Not that it matters if its edited properly but it's not.

Still, at the end of the day we should think ourselves lucky, shouldn't we. Its only a major.
Practice, you only get out what you put in, but I'm having second thoughts. In my bag this week Callaway driver, 3 and 5 wood. Titleist 909 21 degree utility, Titleist 909 19 degree utility with TM Vsteel 5 wood shaft, Srixon Z 745/945 irons Nippon shafts, Vokey 200 series wedges 50 and 58. Odyssey works cruiser putter, Prov1x, HC 5.

And that demographic is the one that will make or break the future of the game.
