    Rules evening with Ian Wrigley

We had a very entertaining rules evening tonight at Ellesmere with Ian Wrigley former professional golfer and now a referee.

He had a lot of anecdotes and gave lots of rules examples based on our course.

    A very good evening.

    Sounds like a hoot....

Sorry, just being flippant. I'm sure it's a lot better than it sounds!

    So the question comes...

With a lot of the rules about to change, if players do not know the rules already are those they do not know them just being taught something which will no longer be correct in 18 months time?
