    Flying Finish

Finished with five 3s in a row yesterday (2 under for those five holes). I had been three down after five, AS after eleven, then two down again after fourteen. Won it on the last so now in the semi-final of the Summer Singles.

There is no point to this post other than to share my happiness with people who will understand it, no one in my office gives a stuff.

Good going cos it can be tricky when they toughen it up with windmills and giant clown heads near the end!

Seriously though, well done, that must've been a good feeling

Ha ha. I'm the same when I get home after a round. My wife doesn't care, no one at work does either. All that pent up enthusiasm needs to get out somewhere.

I was three down after five holes! My total was one under net so it was a good day but we're all allowed them now and again.

Congrats! Best of luck for your next tie.

I had my singles tie on Sunday, and after being 3 down after 5, I managed to turn things around and win 4up on the 16th. Into the Quarter finals now

We are indeed. I remember, as a 16 year old off 17, driving a par 4 & holing the putt for a 2, nett 1. The single figure players I was playing against were delighted.

Well done. It was a good day for the Lincs Lads !!! Me and my partner won our 3rd round of the club foursomes championships(Vice Presidents Trophy) last night. One down after 7 and won 5&3. We were 4 over gross i think after 15 holes which is decent for a 7 and 10 handicappers !!!! Quarter finals now for us.. All the best of luck for your Semi Final !!!!
