Agreed, he'll look a much better manager in Scotland.

Everton looking likely to tie up Klaasen from Ajax and Niang from AC Milan. Good to see us tie up business early. Niang had a spell on loan at Watford. What do our Hornet followers think about him?

Good value at 1.6m, certainly not 16m. Flashes of excellence, good feet and then disappears totally. I nicknamed him "the wardrobe". Thankful he's not coming back to us.

Great signing and a good day's business. Klaasen is excellent, will make a superb signing.

No point keeping him if he doesn't want to stay.

No idea who Klassen is but I'll be amazed if he is better than Barkley. Wouldn't mind seeing him at Liverpool - quality player

You never quite know with a player via the Dutch leagues. Some are great, some are championship level. The Dutch league can flatter a player. Hopefully the homework has been done though and he is a player who can adapt to the PL. Incidentally, Klaassen is the Ajax captain, a team that made it to the Europa league final playing some very attractive football, and a Dutch international. He is clearly no muppet.

I like Barkley but if he doesn't want to stay then move him on for the best price we can get.
