But when you select Ox & Henderson then Iím sorry but you deserve all the stick you get.
This is what I mean 👍

Quote, "No one else could do a better job with the players than what Southgate is doing". Well thanks for your honesty in telling us that the game we are watching under Southgate is gonna bore the tits off us for the foreseeable future.

However back to Pep, it has been both interesting and amusing, listening to fans on here complain how there teams/squads have not invested in there obvious weak positions.
Whats Pep done about City? Got rid of four full backs in the summer and brought in two, however Mendy is injured and Delph has been excellent at left back, that's nowt to do with Pep dropping him in there is it. strengthened midfield and got rid of some, strengthened up front and got a whopping £25 million for donkey inehacho. But bought Jesus for less. Along the way playing football that generations of City fans have never seen? Yup he's doin a crap job. Long may it continue.
lol tashy, no one said hes doing a crap job, but hows he going to buy another 2 full backs, strengthen midfield and and buy up front if he doesnt like the ones hes got as an international manager?

All with a foreign coach, I think they have been successful.
So a bit like Arsenal fans saying winning the FA Cup a few times and being top 4 for 20 years in a row is a good record and getting told thatís failure.

The Ashes is against 1 team and beating India, wow.

    Certainly proved me wrong

Looking forward to the rugby stats now

I personally donít care what nationality they are, I simply want England in any sport to do well, England Football have had a superb summer in the Underís team and hopefully it bodes well for the future, I just donít subscribe to this idea that the answer is, appoint a foreigner!

Yep, thats some result. Sounded like a great game too. I expect Neville and co will be splashing the cash again if it carries on.

Crazy money in the conference north right now.

Since Eddie Jones took over England

Played 20 -lost once - 17 international wins in a row matching the longest ever winning run in Rugby , gone from 7 in the WR to 2nd and have won the Grand Slam and the Six Nations in that 2 year period.

Both the cricket and rugby teams have improved immensely since the appointment of the best available coaches regardless of nationality - 99% of people who follow both sports will be able to see that quite clearly

Itís all about Trophies Phil, Iíve edited while you replied, one minute you state you have no interest in the national team and the next you have the answer, you donít even watch them and tell us whatís wrong.

Over the moon England Rugby and Cricket have improved, but they have very limited opposition.

Agree but they weren't the only ones Sterling, Dire , Even Kane until he scored they were all crap.
To me it's a mental thing with the shirt.
The players in form should lift the ones struggling but the opposite happens when they put an England shirt on.

Very difficult to say that the England cricket team has improved at white ball cricket under the present regime.

Also cannot compare the performances of either the rugby or cricket teams with the football team

Both the former are, in terms of the number of competitors, minority sports
