The game is way too quick, players dont think about possible consequences in that momemt theyre a bout to tackle etc.

It wouldnt take that long for the panel to look at that incident and to agree it doesnt derve a 3 match ban. That britos challenge was worthy of a 6 game ban. Utter thuggery.

The problem is that would mean the FA/Prem to use common sense when punishments are handed out for actions on the pitch - they are as useless as the officials in the middle of the pitch

People talk about legbreakers and usually its an overreaction but that was exactly that. Shocking.

Agree with this should be the Champions only home / away if you lose you are out like it used to be.
you could then have a also rans league for the rest.
Calling it the champions Leauge is surely against the trade descriptions act as at least 75% of teams are not the champions of their respective leagues.

So over the past three three days for the high foot offence there have been three different reactions to the same offence - red card , yellow card and no foul. The only thing that is consistent is the lack of consistency
And the completely different circumstances, game, players, Ref, cause, direction of studs.... - so just about everything except it was a high boot with an opposition player in close proximity!

The Reid incident was deemed to have been caused by slipping, as opposed to an intentional action! Not sure whether there's actually any allowance/discretion for accidental vs deliberate, as it's still dangerous! Graham Poll seems to think there is though. And that there should have been 2 Red cards for high 'tackles' at the weekend!

I'd actually like to see Red Cards like this (these!) assessed/appeal-able (they may actually be!) as, while the Ref's decision may be technically correct, the 'punishment' for 'accidental serious foul play' seems rather too much - at least compared with 'deliberate serious foul play'!

The player he kicked was about 6'4" tall how can you slip 6'4" in the air.
Think the ref gave a foul but no card.

I have always thought a DELIBARATE foul to stop a break away etc should be red but it's always yellow.
Yet an accidental one can be red depending on the ref!
