I'm not sure I can see that ending well for Liverpool. Imagine the damage that Neymar, Cavani and MBappe or Ronaldo, Bale/Isco and Benzema or Ribery, Robben and Muller or Suarez, Messi and Dembele would do to the current Liverpool defence. It would likely be a cricket score and they'd be able to declare after the first leg.

Seen that Winston Reid last night kicked a Huddersfield player in the face with a high boot as well - the response from the ref - no red card , no yellow card not even a foul

So over the past three three days for the high foot offence there have been three different reactions to the same offence - red card , yellow card and no foul. The only thing that is consistent is the lack of consistency

Quite probably but Mane's was still a red, correctly, so move on and accept it.

Most of us have, though Mane doesnt deserve the same punishment as Britos got the previous week.

Punishments are often blunt instruments as the alternative would be too complicated. It is also meant as a deterrent.

Liverpool beat Madrid 4-0 at Anfield a few seasons ago and 5-0 on agg, those continental clubs are over-rated much of the time. A team is better than a group of individuals. Torres took them apart. Get Liverpool on a good day (they are better now than back then) and they can take you apart.

Madrid side then as good on paper as current one with exception of Ronaldo - Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Cannavaro (Van der Vaart 64), Pepe, Heinze, Robben (Marcelo 46), Lassana Diarra, Gago (Guti 77), Sneijder, Raul, Higuain.

    Just saying.

Well you are entitled to your opinion you pay your cash.
But if someone called you not a fan just for putting a different view that's annoying.
Prob agree with Matip but just lately he needs to pull every other player up with him.
Think TAA will be quality in two years , but what's he learning from Klavan and Moreno.

Well what's the point in playing then if it's already been decided that it's going to be such a walkover

If only we had a manager who has shown to upset the odds and beat all these supposed teams before in the CL and imagine if we had a history of beating these better teams but always glad to see others write us so easily - makes the egg of the face even sweeter
