    Why a joke?
I can understand why a red was shown ....................... I'm not saying it is correct, but totally understandable and certainly not a joke of a card.

It's a 50-50, Mane was looking directly at the ball. It's a foul sure, but absolutely not a red card.

Well done ref - that's a shocking red card - a foul yep prob and maybe a yellow , it's a 50/50 challenge and it's unfortunate that he got injured but it's never a red card and teams get punished by their poor decisions and there is no way they are held accountable for their poor decisions

Thought he was going to get yellow as they were arriving pretty much at the same time.

    Done for dangerous play.

    Unfortunately that's killed the game.

Liverpool weren't looking great though. Salah has looked lively but lacked that final product, other than that they've been poor. City showing how to play against them. Pressure, pressure, pressure. Liverpool like time and space, City have given them none of it (well, apart from Otamendi anyway). Going to take something special for Liverpool to get anything out of this now.

I accept that, but his foot was head high with studs showing.
    You just can't do that.

How can that not be a red card.

    Off the floor

Out of control high (being an understatement) foot.

    Studs up.

If thats a 50/50 and thats the only way he can get the ball its not a 50/50 as you simply cannot tackle like that.

Hence why it's a foul yes and possibly a yellow but it's in no way deliberate or hasn't gone out to injure the player. Eye on the ball all the way
