All this just added to my want to beat him after being so messed around with booking the date. Fortunately he didn't play very well either and we walked off after 13 holes with me winning 6&5.

Now into the final of my draw with a match against an 8 handicapper who made it all the way to Portugal last year.
I think he deserved to lose if he did not turn up prior to the tee time. He certainly did not give himself a chance to prepare and be relaxed at the start.

    Best of luck at Frilford.

Well...only went and won at Frilford with 38 points! Shot 3 over with a stupid double in there. Have played frilford red a lot of times and it's always been off the very back tees and super fast green in the Oxford gold medal etc and I think that made the course seem easier today as I didn't have to keep hitting 3 woods and 2 irons into par 4's!. Some of the tees were back but most were on the white boxes.
