    I'm wearing shorts.

I ain't wearing shoes with shorts. That's a real faux pas.
So looks like McDonald's breakfast, I daren't get turned away in boat shoes incase they interpret them as trainers.

Good luck to those in the second round

Or wear trousers in the clubhouse then change before you play?

Won my match 4&3. Was all square up front 9 but holed some long putts after that.

    Re: Titleist Matchplay

I've got a match arranged for tomorrow evening for my 2nd round match. I've arranged to take time off work so I can get there. My opponent text me this morning saying the weather wasn't looking good and asking if I can make Thursday instead. I replied unfortunately not, I have meetings and have arranged to leave early, hopefully it wont rain too much.

He's now replied with the weather forecast and asked if there are any other dates I can make.

Am I being unreasonable if I say no, let's just play tomorrow? I know it's likely to be wet, but I have arranged the time off work, to leave early and it's only rain after all.

I'd appreciate an opinion before I reply again, I don't want to be unreasonable.

    Cheers

If the match is arranged and he can't make it. It's your match and claim the win.

A good set of waterproofs of and rain gloves makes it easier.

If its arranged and the course is open/playable, then it is his problem.

Exactly that. Keep the text and in case of problems show a copy to the organisers and ask them to make a decision. If they know you've taken time off work as well I can't see there being an issue claiming it and being given it
