    You would have to say the dosh as he was with Nike before and that was not about the kit. I am however surprised he did not make a 13 club deal and have putter open.

    I wouldn't think Rory is short of a few quid!
    at his level it's about winning and winning Majors so I'd say he's switching to the kit that performs best for him. The fact he has spent months testing product and playing a range of stuff at Tournaments says to me this switch is based completely on performance

    Yep, I am just going off what Mike said in the OP so I guess its to follow.

    Oh and just because someone has a lot of money does not stop them making commercial decisions.
