Yes, but you voted the "wrong way" so you've got to have another vote on it. That's how it works.

Yeah but like Brexit certain people can't accept democracy when it doesn't suit them!

This is correct - you could hear the clerk advising the speaker that he should act as Blackford requested. Thems the rules - as archaic as they might seem. The fact that yesterday a Tory MP filibustered the debate on the amendment in question, thereby excluding SNP voices (or indeed any Scottish voice) to be heard in the debate relating to devolved powers was disgraceful.
    to infinity and beyond...

...well from 10.0 to 9.4 this year would be nice.

And last medal of the year (Oct) saw me play to handicap but CSS was +1 so that was me down 0.2 from 8.3 to 8.1

    Job done

Maybe he is like the rest of us and we are sick and tired of the crying and bleating from the small minority of the UK public that can’t accept the vote result and will not allow the democratic process to be followed through. If only we all were unable to tell people to get out when they didn’t shut up

Yep, "thems the rules", as you so rightly say. It is also one of the "rules" that an MP should sit down when the Speaker stands. In fact, that is one of the basic rules that all new MPs are told when they first join the HoC. But I guess it's fine for Blackford to ignore that rule while still complaining about the Speaker ignoring a different rule because it suits the "poor us, we're the victim" stance of the SNP.

Rules like votes are only acknowledged by some when they suit their agenda. The man was in the wrong yet the normal suspects refuse to accept it. Nothing new, move on.

Do you actually know filibustering occurred or are you making an assumption? Are you suggesting that the Tory MP that was, perhaps, in the middle of a very valid point should have stopped midstream....?

The fact that ALL Scottish, Welsh and NI MP's were stopped from speaking on UK devolved Brexit issues before Tuesday's vote seems to have flown over most posters heads.
May and Mundell promised them that they would have time for debate, but their parties planning and tactics were engineered to make this impossible.

It took four 'flaming' hours for MP's to cast their votes in the crazy voting system, leaving 20 minutes for debate. The speaker chose an English Tory MP to speak and he waffled nonsense.

Anyone on here think that is fitting for a modern democracy.
