    It's correct.

Paying with cards in busy pubs is annoying, not all pubs are like the Wetherspoon where they have multiple terminals. Bartenders end up waiting on thier colleague to finish with the terminal whilst people are waiting to get served.

My Folks were in York and made the mistake of saying take one for yourself and the took £5 off a round of 4 drinks! My old man passed the change to my mum who noticed and went back to the bar where the spotty bartender Called for the manager who claimed that was the going rate for 'tourists' ! She took my t back and left a quid...

This is exactly why I don't say it outside of Liverpool.

Seems to completely defeat the point of recycling if you are just chucking anything in any bin.

We have been on wheelie bins for years, 2 week collections as well. Never seen a maggot in a bin. The lid is close, how do the maggots get in? I get it if they are loose bin bags on the floor, animals tear the bags etc but we are talking about solid plastic containers with food waste in bags inside. Maybe it is too cold for maggots up here within the two week cycle but they have genuinely not been an issue.

When you're running late for work so jump on a bus and manage to get a peaceful top deck almost to yourself....

Until 30-odd kids pile on on a school trip and occupy the rest of the deck all round you, chattering away. I felt like I was back in primary school!
