    Realisation that the nights are getting darker, work is pants and my first proper full golf season is coming to an end

    When my son was playing we would look at the general pricing of Nike and Adidas and then tell him we would pay X amount that covered a pair of their boots, not a Messi or Ronaldo version. If he wanted to pay extra for them then he could put his own money in. The most we ever paid was about £45, he once put in an extra £10 but that was it. Anyone who gets their kids £160 boots has way too much money.
