Just when I think I have my golf set-up sorted, I convince myself of a new selection of ways to waste money. Every damn time.

And on the golf front - well it was yesterday and not today.

There was me thinking I had my s***k sorted out, and so off I merrily trotted for a few holes yesterday evening. On the last hole I planned to play I joined up with two other lads. I relaxed - and instantly hit successive s***ks

Of course - taking on board the true meaning of acceptance I immediately dismissed these as aberrations out of character of my new self - and so will go merrily out this evening...for a few s***k-free holes -
    to infinity and beyond...

...well from 10.0 to 9.4 this year would be nice.

And last medal of the year (Oct) saw me play to handicap but CSS was +1 so that was me down 0.2 from 8.3 to 8.1

    Job done

I bought a sleeveless jumper off Ebay, brand new black Proquip one. It has just arrived, looks great and then I realise from the label it is a ladies one. I don't think there is any obvious difference but for the record I am a 14-16 (obviously nearer 14 than 16 )

Can I go to the council? Even easier - can I just cut off the overhanging branches and lob them over his fence?
You can cut it back to his border no probs, but no, you cant chuck the cuttings in his garden. They are his, and you have to offer them to him, but if he does not want them, disposal is your responsibility.

If it's obstructing the pavement/highway, the local authority can make him cut it back.

Vertigo. Started Sunday morning. Sunday was almost a wipe out. Monday a bit better, but try being on a plane for 2.5hrs with vertigo without throwing up. Yesterday a little better but the afternoon was spent laid in bed whilst the room did back flips. Today is golf day, and I’m hugging the floor as the room dances like a ship in a Force 9.
