    have to admit its the garages that don't help here.. half of them install pumps that reach poorly.. if they installed the pumps that reach easily then this wouldn't have become an issue

    Having driven for years I only recently found out there was a little arrow on the petrol gauge denoting which side the filler cap is

    I must be lucky, I reckon I use the "wrong side" more often that not to save waiting.

    I always fill up using either side but drive off the pumps if there is room on the forecourt.

    If the pump is free on the wrong side I just swing round and reverse in. Better than waiting in everyone doing their weekly shop.
