Re: Random irritations of the day.

Played for my club yesterday and have got up this morning with a large solid lump under the right side of my mouth and above my chin, but we can't see any bite mark!

I didn't feel very well on my way home or when I got in for a while, so obviously something has happened. Lisa says as no bite mark can be seen I should go to the doctors, but I'm not a doctors kind of person for such trivial matters.

I've took a Zirtek allergy tablet just as a precaution and think I'll see how it pans out during the day.

I hate this kind of thing, it's the 'not knowing', but I'll feel bad if I go to the doctors and its just a bite, but what else could it be?

The pictures don't really show up the swelling, but it's quite solid and around 40mm in diameter.

Perhaps the passing motorists are so taken with the sight of your lycra clad buttocks it takes them a further fifty yards, of travelling, to recover sufficient composure to acknowledge the view....

Therefore you don't know that it's a trivial matter .................... so just go to the doctor!
It is what they're paid for, after all.

Sliced or, at best, faded every tee shot today until the 16th.
It's made for a slice of Fraggeresque proportions - about 45° dogleg right at about 180 yards leaves a 9 or 8 into the green.
I'm slicing so I just set up as I have been and make the same sort of swing I've been making all round.
    And away it sails
    Bullet straight
    Didn't move an inch
Carried the trees at 220 yards, gets a hard bounce, crosses in front of the 17th green and ends up behind the biggest tree in Christendom

As this lump is getting bigger & bigger, and if it was a bite, I wish it would have bitten me somewhere else
