Did a quick 7 holes after work, lovely to be out again after work.

Ball didn't seem to be travelling at all tonight, under clubbed quite a bit.

The putt was the only decent shot of the nine, the one that went OOB was a stinker!

I have got a new mate to play 9 holes with during the week. He is 85 and has been a member since end of WW11 Plays off 24 now but when he was 71 shot a 70 at Blackmoor.

I managed to scrap a half after being 3 down.

Re: I played today and...(Rolling thread)

    Played yesterday.
Story of my year so far - 15 great holes and 3 pathetic ones....
Driving was good, GIR acceptable, scrambling so-so, putting decent.
But 3 bad holes and a decent score is out of the window. One more round to my Winter League and I reckon I need to shoot 44 gross to win......
Had a range session this afternoon and all was going well - that puts a score tomorrow in jeopardy then....

Hope you are feeling the love Johnny, I enjoy loggin in and seeing new threads, even if half of them I am not interested in. Keep thinking out loud and on topic I went to the range today and wish I had not as it has left me with more questions than answers!

Wow I like the fact the op starts threads all the time as he covers most topics and everyone can join in. You see replys from people who haven't posted in months which is a great thing as it gets everyone together. There's a few who remind me of little female dogs pm'ing each other........really wow. Love not war

played today in start of season day charity game. 4 man team best 3 scores. It was one of them days were your just plodding along having a giggle enjoying the company and then realise you shot +6 for a net 63 with 43 points with a blob. Even though I noticed this after I got home the card marker had me down for 38 points. I was just striping the ball so good. A cheeky 280 yard drive on our 10th stuck in my mind today that made me realise how much I've missed hard fairways. Never mind great day with great weather. Nice to see homer on the practice green getting ready to whoop your backside tommorow at blackmoor.
