Wow, that was a hell of a tough paper round you had.

As I had a day off yesterday was going to go into work today to catch up - not feeling 100% and really bad traffic issues on my commute so at 8.45 decided to go and play golf instead.

Lovely day, course far drier than Sunday, greens were being microtined as we went round but rolled well.

Shot 36 pts and won the £1's by 3 pts with my game improving as we went round.

Suppose I should pop into work tomorrow now .....

Managed to knock my trolley over, whilst catching the speed control, putting in on full whack, spilling clubs out the back, while trying to chase it down the fairway!

Safe to say laughs were had!

Got to mention my Sunday round ... won 6&5, and was just 4 over gross on front 9. Equivalent of 24 points on front 9, and 30 for the 13 holes played including the nil points on 10. Shame that it was cold & the oppo wanted to go in after match was over. Would have been nice to see if l could have managed to continue in same vein for the full 18. (On other hand, coming in probably saved disappointment )

Yea thought you couldn't have that much lead in your pencil for a senior what with you having a baby girl.

Just wondered when you said your score was not enough to win the money.

Played at Orsett in Essex. A great winter course.

My round a real tale of two halves.
    Front gross 58 +21 = 5 stableford points.
Back gross 33 -2 = 26 stableford points. Back 9 included 3 birdies and one bogey.

That is some difference! Did you take the blindfold off for the back 9?
