Re: Minimum Price Alcohol in Scotland

It won't stop the already alcoholic, I think we all know that. It may help to reduce those going down that path at a young age however as they will not find it quite so cheap to load up. Anyone see...

Re: Minimum Price Alcohol in Scotland

I think it's a good step forward. I agree with Doon, I think we will be copying the move south of the border within a few years.

    Re: Cover up

This. If anything if I wanted to mess with the guys head I'd let him see my choice. I'm not a long hitter so it would confuse him horribly.

That bit was meant to be a moment of light hearted flippancy. I googled it, the previous owners have retired and new people came in and 're styled and revamped the place.

    Re: Juniors in Menís comps

The fault there is allowing them to play off junior tees and junior h/c. If they play in an adult comp then they should play off the whites and have an adult h/c.

    Re: Juniors in Menís comps

I'm pleased to say any junior with a handicap, max 28, can play and win a comp at our club. They are treated as equals.

My son and I left a previous club when my son was 14 as he had a h/c of 18,...

Re: What's on your Christmas list?

Christmas and birthday, I'm mid December, an electric trolley. Wanted one for a while but couldn't justify it. A few back issues, muscular, has led to my wife saying "you should get one". Bingo!

    Re: Films

You are not kidding. It's definitely on the list I'm making of "unreasonable behaviour". I stuck with until the end to see if it improved. It didn't 😕.

    Re: And, we're off, 2017/18.......

I can't face revisiting that era again. Maybe one combination worked in one game, maybe a different combination worked in another. I only remember regular disappointment 😟. Time to move on......

    Re: And, we're off, 2017/18.......

Drop any two, if the other doesn't work you try one of the two you dropped. Trying 2 or 3 of these together failed consistently and England lost 8 or so years of potential because no manager had the...

Re: Zoom flexx-fit glove - anyone tried?

I got one of the zero friction ones. Really liked it but then it wore really quickly so didn't bother again. Shame as it was really comfy and felt great.

Either because they are hideous or it's winter. I'd vote for the former.

If only someone had listened to this we wouldn't have wasted huge amounts of games and caps on Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard.

    Re: Favourite open champion?

Another vote for Stenson. Seve, Faldo etc were before my time. Close call between Stenson and Mickleson but the quality of that final round and his whole demeanour just edges it.
