Re: Random irritations of the day.

When my son was playing we would look at the general pricing of Nike and Adidas and then tell him we would pay X amount that covered a pair of their boots, not a Messi or Ronaldo version....

Re: Handicaps....what changes would you make?

I am going to a meeting tonight, thankfully in a pub, where we are going to cover next years competitions and see if we can encourage more members to take part in them. We are currently strokeplay...

    Re: Hunter Mahan

According to Butch there are around 30 other golfers who have "the best swing on tour". Hunter is going to have to get in line.

I have a soft spot for Mahan after his Ryder Cup press conference...

Re: Handicaps....what changes would you make?

I think if you went to 10 cards to keep your h/c you would halve the number with active handicaps. If you think most golfers play April-Sept, at best 1 comp round per weekend. Take off holidays,...

    Re: Toppling statues?

Not just the Roman Empire. Every Empire, every dominant nation, every dominant tribe in history, all historical monuments.

Re: Handicaps....what changes would you make?

No to all cards at all times for me. There are times when I want to play purely for fun, take on the daft shot, try something new. Always having a card in your hand would take away these moments.

She may need to speak to the millionaires in the harbour for that, ha ha. I'm not sure if there are options for that but then again we weren't looking for it. The water is very clear and very salty....

    Re: Booking Golf Online

I think your last post is the key to this. If you have a mate, or ideally a few, then this is fine. If you are trying to do this on your own then it is harder.

Here's a question. Why doesn't Daenrys take her dragons, fire the boats and relieve the blockade of Casterly Rock, thus freeing the Unsullied? She can take them everywhere else, why not there. It's...

SILH - I'd highly recommend taking either the boat, bus or taxi across to Cavtat. If going at night then boat less so but the restaurants and atmosphere in Cavtat are lovely and they are less...

Re: Mayweather vs McGregor - Official

The main repairs are to the tower, not the clock, although that is being serviced at the same time. The bongs are being silenced so that workers are not deafened or 100m up and shocked into falling...
