    Actually I think he's referring to the 'merge in turn'' method which is recommended in the highway code.

    Bib, me too, but only entitled to a UK passport. Fortunately the wife is eligible for both UK and an Irish passport (currently waiting for it to arrive) so hopefully that should make things easier.

    No, they're usually the dodgiest. For every job they walk away from without getting paid, the one's that do pay end up subsidising the rest, and therefore end up paying through the nose.
