    Re: club dispute

You need to deal with the club and get this sorted. This can get very messy if your local golf association or union get involved and you don't get it sorted. You may find your handicap suspended and...

  8. Re: How well do you understand the mechanics of a good golf swing?

To me, it's the actual club path through the ball that's most important. The swing can look like anything, but, if the club passed through the ball position on plane and in the right direction for...
  9. Re: How well do you understand the mechanics of a good golf swing?

How do you define "a good golf swing" Look at Jim Furyk, you wouldn't class that as a good swing, but it does the business for him.

    Re: What fueled car?

I've driven diesels for 30 years, but, having left company car world I'm thinking more about what I need and what I need to pay. Currently running a 1.6 diesel engined car and it's fine, but, I still...

    Re: Skipping GI Irons?

Take as much help as you can from the equipment. Have a look at what many Tour players are using, it's not far off a GI club in many cases. To play well with a more classic looking blade you really...

And some eejit from the cooncil wants the organiser to run the Festival and the Fringe from the beginning of July through to the end of August. It's bad enough as it is at the moment

Re: Comp over two days, 2 CSSs or not?

Yes, usual and proper way of doing it. We have an alternative medal on the Friday and the medal on the Saturday and each day has its own CSS calculated but it's the one comp.

    Re: Unpopular putters

I'd say that unless you are a reasonable putter to start with it's probably not worth the money to buy a high end putter. You need to be good to get the most out of one of them imo. I'd be looking at...
