6th in particular Patrick, very hard to stop it near the pin. That's one of the differences to Blair, not as many trees so tricky greens to protect the course.

It's a cracking course and in great condition at the moment. Testing but not overly long and a different challenge compared to Blair but very enjoyable none the less.

Played a QF tie this evening at Alyth, hit the ball the best I have all year off the tee. Was 5 up at the turn and won 10-12 with 2 birdies and a par to finish up winning 8+6.

Thought that too but a piece of the straw moves up then back down. If you watch the number on the ball it didn't look like it moved.

Golf IN Scotland SHOULD NOT BE CHEAP!

  22. Re: how much of an increase in your membership fee is too much???

It is Patrick but they need new sheds as well due to using what looks like old bomb shelters and they don't come cheap, additionally some money will be put aside for any future projects etc
  23. Re: how much of an increase in your membership fee is too much???
