    Cant beat that but my club was started in 1817 by the St Andrews Society of Golfers which then became the R&A , we still play for the Gold Medal which started in 1818.

    Some course ,I've played it close on 30 times and could happily play there every day. They've built some new tees to change the players thoughts on some holes, its all about keeping your ball in play...

    Don't have one at ours but you can phone the clubhouse when you get to the 9th tee and it will be ready for you by the time you get of the green. Always love playing Portstewart as they have one at...

    Some cracking courses there, we're Ireland bound again this October playing Lahinch, Conemmara and Galway GC plus 1 more,staying in Galway this year so should be another good trip
