Re: Skytrak vs GC2 vs Driving Range

can't see it would be any more boring than hitting 100 balls at the range. would only be using it in the winter months as our club has a reasonable practice ground (when it's not flooded!)

Re: What are ECCO shoes like fit-wise?

they are a good fit - much the same as the Callaways, a lot wider than the others I tried last year. There is a removable insole to give even more width if needed.

Skytrak vs GC2 vs Driving Range

Course close to me has recently upgraded it's practice facilities, and is offering Skytrak for £10 an hour and GC2 for £20 an hour for non-members, or a "studio" annual membership for £100 which gets...

Re: What are ECCO shoes like fit-wise?

Phoned the Ecco Metro Centre store, they were still wanting full price (£160) for the Cage, however AG had a pair in stock when I went to take the leaking Callaways back. Tried them on and fitted...

    Re: AG returns policy?

did they send them off for testing before giving you the credit, or did they do it there and then? (am wondering if I can get them to price match ECCO!)

    AG returns policy?

As per the ECCO thread, I'm returning my Callaway Chev Mulligan shoes as they are leaking.

I bought them in an AG store 4 months ago. They are supposed to have a 1 year waterproof guarantee.

Re: What are ECCO shoes like fit-wise?

I hate the Metro Centre with a passion, I only go there when I really really have to. AG stock Ecco, and I need to take the current shoes back there, so might pop up to Gosforth and try them on.

Re: Which courses to play Scarborough way??

Have played Scarborough North Cliff and Filey a couple of times. Both very decent courses, and ok for high handicappers like myself. My in laws' place overlooks the 18th green at North Cliff. It's a...

    Re: Six Nations 2018

Scotland look overpriced at 11/1. Expect that to drop massively when they beat Wales in the opener.

Re: Carillion. Close to going bust.

If that's true, it's criminal (well, I know that it won't be by the letter of the law, but it should be).

Morally repugnant is probably a better term.

    Cyrille Regis R.I.P.

Great player, who had to put up with appalling abuse. Paved the way for many after him.

    Only 59, what a shame.

Watched Star Wars The Force Awakens again last night. Saw it at the cinema Xmas 2016, had forgotten lots of it. It is miles better than The Last Jedi.

    Re: Bella Emberg. RIP.

Always felt a bit sorry for her. Her career was basically people laughing at her for being fat and ugly. Epitomises 70s/80s TV comedy I suppose.
