  1. Re: Mar Hall Golf Sunday 29th April 2018- interest?

    😀 Good suff. Canny wait.
  2. Re: Mar Hall Golf Sunday 29th April 2018- interest?

When you said the extra participant didn't have access to the site I immediately knew it was Cabby 😂. Definitely looking forward to it. See you at 11.

The missus still thinks I'm weird for...
  3. Re: Mar Hall Golf Sunday 29th April 2018- interest?

Know where you are. Used to run along Edinburgh road then up Halhill road when I stayed over that way.
I don't think I'd make it in time to get you, but we can see who's going and work it out from...
  4. Re: Mar Hall Golf Sunday 29th April 2018- interest?

Whereabouts are you? I have a slight issue in that I need to take the wee fella to park run before it. I don't think I'll be able to make a huge detour. I'm just at the Clyde Tunnel.
  5. Re: Mar Hall Golf Sunday 29th April 2018- interest?

😀 I'm still trying to work out if that's a compliment.

I've held off asking people just in case forum members want to come along.

Re: How young is too young?

Had the wee fella down at the park putting since he was 2. There's a putting green there on an old bowling green. We couldn't work out if he was right or left handed so he went round 9 holes left...
  7. Re: Mar Hall Golf Sunday 29th April 2018- interest?

No buggy for me. I get travel sick in them. 🤢😀. Will put the feelers out for a couple of extra people and let you know asap.
  8. Re: Mar Hall Golf Sunday 29th April 2018- interest?

Should have said it'll be 'outsiders' who haven't seen the light of the forum 😀
  9. Re: Mar Hall Golf Sunday 29th April 2018- interest?

Guys do we need extra bodies for this? Do you want me to ask around?

    Re: NHS Parking

Completely agree that if you pay for a space you should be guaranteed it. However the cost of 'policing' such car parks is so high they need to make their money somehow. The parking charges at...

    Re: The Masters 2018

Just stuck a few playful each way bets on Justin Thomas, Alex Noreen and for a laugh Freddie C. Was between Freddie and Angel Cabrera.

    Re: What's your favourite curry?

Love the Lamb Saag out of the village curry house in Glasgow. With a Peshawari Naan. Magic.

Home made is Anjum Anand's pork vindaloo. A lot of work but worth the effort.

    Re: The Masters 2018

Me too. Don't care about people needing to be 'invited' or coverage not starting till 8pm or whatever. It's a cracking event at one of the most astoundingly picturesque courses that's ever been on...

    Re: Vanity handicaps.

I've never understood this. I've asked before but ended up more confused. Should you play to your handicap 3 times a year in comps off the medal tees? Or should you only score 36 points, or more when...

    Re: Spikeless Golf Shoes

Great thanks. I think I'll stick with spikes. The steep slopes thing is an issue and I don't mind spikes during the summer.

    Spikeless Golf Shoes

Just wondering what people's experience of spikeless golf shoes is like. Probably loads of topics on this but thought I'd ask as technology changes etc.

Do you have another pair of shoes with...

Re: TV Series - What Are You Watching?

That's exactly what I thought. Watched the first couple of episodes of season 2 and thought it was guff. Didn't have a clue what was going on. Went back to it and persevered a year later and thought...

Re: TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Finished Save Me last night. Really difficult to watch due to the subject matter. Lennie James was superb in it. Hopefully there will be a second series. Very good indeed.

    Re: Golf Clash

I can't break the 500k barrier. Keep getting to high 400ks then go on an astonishing run of losses. Currently about 150k. Think I need clubs upgraded to make a proper push but I refuse to spend real...
