After taking up this great game about 18 months and playing as a nomad golfer around the North West I have just won my first prize.
Played in a works event of team Stableford. Best 2 out of 4 players score count on the hole. My team of 4 consisted of a 10, 13, my 19 and a lady playing off 28. We won the event by one point with 86. I contributed 32 points to the team including a nett eagle on the SI1 par 4. Par for the course was 67 and I scored a gross 86 for a nett par round. Won a nice shield for the team and a £45 voucher for the pro shop. I am well chuffed, after the previous weeks NW get together where I played really badly things came good on the day. Can't wait to get back out when the bloody rain stops
