Hi All.
Has anybody got a set of the new Tour Burner irons or played with them at all?
They look pretty good and appear well received in some tests.
Interested in any views.
Cheers. John.

Tried them at a recent demo day and didn't like either the standard or the tour version. Felt quite heavy and couldn't get any consistancy with them in a number of shaft combinations. That said they do look reasonable at address (not the sexiest iron out there) but are a bit pricey (as are most TM clubs) but they will fo a good job for most people. I prefer my R7's and once I put them into my bag the X20's in graphite I've just got (a question of grooving a few swing gremlins from the last lesson and working out the new distances hit)

My mate has them and is very happy with them
I tried them but like others here i prefer my R7's. If you shop around you may find a good price on the R7's as TM now no longer make them

Onlinegolf are selling R7s for under £269.00. Have almost been tempted myself at that price.

I found the R7TPs a bit light. You need to swing before you buy, as if you like heavier sticks these aren't for you. I couldn't feel the club at all, and had real trouble squaring it at impact.
